Paul is the Managing Director of the national broadcaster,Uganda Broadcasting Corporation.
A graduate of Mass Communication from Makerere University,Paul has extensive experience in managing radio as a business.
He is Treasurer of the UMDF board.
Moses Paul Sserwanga Esq. Is the Board Secretary Uganda Media Development Foundation. He is an advocate of the High Court specializing in Human rights and media law. He is a development Communications and Media consultant and trainer. He is also the Executive Editor Government Review Magazine
A veteran journalist turned politician,Hashaka is the Resident District Commissioner Namayingo. A graduate of Makerere University,he worked for the national broadcaster before joining elective politics and served as a district administrator in Nakawa,Tororo and Kumi districts.
He is vice chairman of the UMDF Board.
John Baptist Wasswa Is the Chairman of the Uganda Media Development Foundation Board. Beside this role JB Wasswa works as a lecturer in the department of Mass communication at Makerere University.
His Teaching Areas include News Writing, Public affairs, Writing and Media Ethics and critical thinking. He has worked as a News Editor at The New Vision, Managing Editor of the Daily Monitor, Editor of the Weekly Topic, and Consulting Editor at the Pepper publications.
He holds a BA in Education from Makerere University, a Post graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Nairobi, and a Masters in Journalism and Media studies from Rhodes University, South Africa. JB Wasswa also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in French Language and Literature from L’Universtre d’Aix-en-Provence, France.
His research interests include Journalists performance under public media, audience studies and representation. He is also a media training consultant.
